This page details how to get started on contributing as well as the best practices when adding or altering existing information.
Before you start contributing, you must make sure your contributions will be well-formed, informative, verifiable, and applicable to the page. Low quality edits are frowned upon and may lead to a suspension. Make sure you are following proper formatting rules and that your edits appear clear and concise. Mistakes can happen, so if you see one, don't be afraid to correct it.
Not every piece of history or information is easily verifiable. While it is always preferred to have an existing source for potentially disputable details, we have a high-tolerance for unverifiable claims. Unverified claim may be removed at any time, so it is always encouraged to provide sources for proof. This can be anything from an old webpage, news article, review, or product description. Contributions that are easily disputable are not helpful.
Worlio Wiki uses DokuWiki as its wiki software. As such, it is encouraged to familiarize with its Formatting Syntax. Additionally, we use a few plugins that add extra functionality:
On topics about a particular software or service, an Infobox is required at the top right of the page. In the source, it should be placed right below the page title but above any text. The Infobox should contain small details on the subject such as a release date, founded date, platforms supported, developer, date of death, and any other minute relevant information.
