The End of the Worlds Event

The End of the Worlds event was an event that took place on September 3rd, 1996 in Worlds Chat to celebrate the release of Worlds Chat Gold.¹⁾ It was distributed as an update to the existing 0.9 version, and featured a worn-down and breaking station with flickering lights and graffiti signifying the end.²⁾ The event ended with the station appearing to crash into a planet through the windows, and being booted off one by one.
